Originally from Chicago, Grant has lived and worked in the Bellevue area for over 20 years. He lives here with his family and dog. In his free time, Grant enjoys walking, live performance, movies, and music. He is a life-long fan of comics, science-fiction, and fantasy. 

Grant holds a Master's Degree in Psychology with specialization in marriage and family therapy from Antioch University Seattle.

His professional experiences include community activism, and working with both profit and not-for-profit organizations.

He is a veteran of an 18-year career at Microsoft. He therefore has personal experience with the pressures of the high-tech work environment and product cycle.
